TEACHERS

Teachers
-------------
Moon when ceases to exist
stars shine brightly
negotiate universal maze
choreographers end assignments
dancers take centre stage.

Gardeners water the thoughts
trimming the plants
and cutting the rough edges
for smooth growth
within the periphery
of social hedges, buds bloom
sure, legend are not made in the womb.

Discipline, values, responsibilities
inculcated to be  tools of anti-wrongdoing
no gratitude is enough
thanks giving makes one weep
as  investors far off
watch their money grow
in the building of a nation
a nation reaps, they sow

Wonderful expression Tribhawan Kaul...the sacrifice any teacher has to make has always been unaddressed at many forums. But to say the least, this respect and affection must remain in every heart, as there hasn't ever been a human dynasty in this cosmos who hasn't had a teacher part of his or her journey. Without a teacher, no journey is ever complete. Be it God, temple, book, parents, children, be it a rock, nature, valley Sea or anything which motivates us, is our teacher. We must all show gratitude for our souls who encapsulate what it seems the best...as our soul is the primary student, and it remains so...

Universal maze is gazed with beauty of hope, dignity and brightness of personalities. Teachers teach and care for students like gardeners water the plants. Students grow taking blessings of teachers. Discipline, values and responsibilities we learn from teachers. This is a great poem of value and tribute to all the teachers of the world. Your effort in penning this we appreciate.
