Silence

Silence is golden
hush, the buzzword
noise gets frozen.

Silence is deafening
martyr’s pyre , waiting to lit
goodbye, last post sounding.

Silence is absolute
cats out of the bag
ministers' hearts sag.

Silence is corrupt
abetted by the hammer
justice denied to an innocent.

Silence is routine
scams after scams
yet none loses sheen.

Silence is love
lips move not
yet they talk.

Silence is pain
at a candle march
for an act insane.

Nice one,,,,The great weapon Wednesday, 18th July 2018 cowards resort to tactics the candle march has no meaning as it lacks basic traitors ofter try to show in silence as they try to capitalize on the chance but it can not hide the pain as its scare shall always remain and speak for the reprisal this has to be understood by all the peace-loving individuals Hasmukh Amathalal Mehta

Lovely piece on 'silence'. As you said, silence too speaks, and a lot. "Looses" should be 'loses'. Kind regards

SOMETIMES SILENCE ROARS .. Very good poem, Hasmukh ji. R R Gandikota , Kakinada, Jul 18, 2018 Silence was once considered a weapon. But now, there are varied opinions. The million dollar question is - Who will take the risk of belling the cat? A thought provoking poem. Keep up the spirit of posting and responding. TFS. Annapurna Sharma, Nellore, Jul 18, 2018 Silence is indeed a great weapon. But adding to Annapurna's thought, this weapon must be accompanied by other weapons called a) non-stop attempts, b) improvements and c) constant action. Best. prabhu bharathan, USA, Jul 18, 2018

Indeed Tribhawan Kaul, silence is golden as well. Respect is earned not demanded but silence does otherwise...it demands respect just because of one logic that silence is actually silence, no noise, not even a whisper. I loved reading this silence on the canvas of your thoughts. It seems that you have tried to paint silence with different hues, and the brush you used silently paints this image with patience. I wonder how you persuaded the silence to sit quiet for this while so as to draw its sketch, but whatever melody you played on to intoxicate silence for this long so that it becomes your muse... I pray and trust this painting gets the best view to all the visitors in your museum. Though it is not for sale yet the price you fetch gives mental peace and happiness to the entire humanity.

You have elaborated silence with justified mind. Many do many things in silence. But finally capturing love in silence is the great aspect of humanity. Pain in silence we can wash more clearly by applying balm of love. Silence brings golden moment while we meditate. An excellent poem that has deep insight is excellently presented.
